<b>extruserve</b> barrels meet the narrowest tolerances and help maintain your production rates at maximum. We only use high quality nitriding steel for our twin screw barrels and process it on state of the art manufacturing equipment. The barrels are then nitrided, using our proven two step heat treating process, to provide an extra thick, wear resistant layer.
In case exceptional wear resistance is required, <b>extruserve</b> offers, amongst other solutions, tungsten carbide (TC) lined barrels, in combination with TC coated screws.
As an option, <b>extruserve</b> offers you to retrofit your machine with apc ® - air power cooling. This advanced barrel cooling system provides the same cooling efficiency as liquid cooled barrels, but does not require any maintenance at all. Temperature set-points can be controlled faster and easier due to apc®’s positive control characteristics.
