In our R+D laboratory we continuously develop new screw designs in order to meet and excel our customers’ processing demands. extruserve gives you the opportunity to make use of the latest single and twin screw technology for your processing needs.
Our experienced engineers tailor the screws for you with the aid of custom computer programs. The geometry of your retrofit screws will be designed according to your processing demands and will be made to exact specifications.

Outstanding Screw Design

Screws and plastics formulations have to be tuned perfectly to avoid premature wear and excessive energy consumption. extruserve designs every screw with regards to the processing condition and application, in order to maximize its efficiency and lifetime.

Long lasting, wear resistant base materials and sophisticated coatings

Our twin screws are made from either highly wear resistant nitriding steel or a special stainless steel for chemically aggressive formulations. The screw surface is nitrided with a low COF molybdenum coating on the outer diameter.

In case exceptional wear resistance is required, extruserve offers, amongst other solutions, tungsten carbide (TC) coated screws, in combination with TC lined barrels.

  • Intracool(R): a proven, closed, maintenance-free, self-regulating and energy-saving screw core tempering system
  • Cimitherm(R): a maintenance-free, self-regulating and energy-saving closed circuit screw core thermoregulation system
